In 1970, the congregation of the Artesia Reformed Church purchased 10 acres of land at 18800 South Norwalk Boulevard for a walk-in, drive-in church. In July 1971, by vote of the congregation, the name of the church changed to New Life Community Church.

The Korean Independent Presbyterian Church is located at 18116 Arline Avenue. At one time, it was the home of the Christian Science Church, established in 1912. Mrs. Charles Gahr was the First Reader; Mrs. William Philips was the Second Reader.

The Netherlands Reformed Congregation was founded in 1954 with Rev. Gazuiderveld leading the congregation.
